To Groundworks Industries CEO Spencer Noecker:
To protect children from excessive marijuana marketing proven to increase harmful teenage use, we ask that you immediately withdraw your corporation’s application for a City license to operate an Electric Lettuce pot dispensary two doors from a Sellwood preschool/kindergarten, near a public library, and next door to a toy store.
By siting a pot dispensary with a deceptive, health-oriented name and colorful, playful lettering and symbols next to a preschool/kindergarten and near a public library, it appears you are comfortable with marketing marijuana to minors and that you seek to profit regardless of the expense to children and public health.
If that is not, in fact, the case, then please withdraw your application for a City license immediately.
